Strawberry Frozen Yogurt Recipe

This strawberry frozen yoghurt is a light and refreshing treat that's ideal for hot summer days. It's made with fresh strawberries, yoghurt and just a hint of sugar, so it's a guilt-free dessert option.

Ingredients

• 2/3 cup granulated sugar
• 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
• 1 1/2 cups plain whole milk yoghurt
• 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Time Needed

• Prep Time: 10 minutes
• Cook Time: 30 minutes
• Total Time: 40 minutes

Instructions

• Stir together the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a medium mixing bowl until well combined.
• Allow for 30 minutes at room temperature, stirring occasionally.
• Blend the strawberry mixture in a blender or food processor until smooth.
• In a large mixing bowl, combine the yoghurt and strawberry puree until well combined.
• Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze for 25-30 minutes, depending on the manufacturer's instructions.
• Freeze the frozen yoghurt in a freezer-safe container for at least 2 hours or overnight.
